For your Domestic EPC
The assessment is non-invasive; there will be no disturbance to your home. There
will be no removal of fixtures or fittings. The assessment will normally take from
one to two hours. In order to facilitate the assessment please read the following
service summary.
- Care will be taken to accurately establish the age of your property. Any documentation
you have which may assist this will be helpful.
- A photographic record will be made of the exterior of the property and also of any
pertinent items in the interior (the boiler, heating controls, etc).
- Measurements will be taken internally and/or externally by laser measurement.
- Access to the loft space and any basements will be required.
- Access to ALL rooms in the house will be required.
- An assessment of the heating system and controls will be made including visual inspection
of fuel and power installations and meters.
- An assessment of the lighting system will be made.
- An assessment of the glazing will be made.
- An assessment of any other energy related features such as solar panels, photovoltaic
panels or renewable energy resources.
- Please have available any certificates you may have relating to cavity wall insulation
or any other improvement work.
For your Commercial EPC
- Access will be required to all parts of the property
- The same non invasive approach is taken for commercial property as for domestic
property
- A site visit will be required prior to quotation for commercial EPC's
