Terms

The provision of all Energy Assessment Services are subject to the following Anglia DEA Ltd terms and conditions.

Parties
These terms and conditions are between you the customer, and Anglia DEA Ltd. These terms and conditions shall cover all services provided by Anglia DEA Ltd to you.

Access
The customer shall be responsible for ensuring Anglia DEA Ltd has full access to the buildings to be assessed at the agreed time. For the avoidance of doubt, Anglia DEA Ltd will need access to lofts, attics, cellars, and all other inhabitable parts of the buildings.

Charges
The customer shall pay the charges agreed for Anglia DEA Ltd services. Details of the fees are set out on this website (where applicable). Alternatively Anglia DEA Ltd may agree a fee for the customer’s services in writing. Any such quotation shall supersede the details as set out on this website. All charges are payable within 30 days of invoice. Any late payment shall be subject to interest at the rate set out under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as updated).

Termination and Cancellation Policy
The customer may terminate any of the agreed services by giving Anglia DEA Ltd 24 hours advance notice in writing. Where the customer gives between 24 and 12 hours advance notice in writing, half of the applicable fee shall be payable. Where the customer gives less than 12 hours advance notice in writing, or fails to give any such advance notice, the full fee shall be payable.

Liability
Anglia DEA Ltd does not limit its liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, nor for fraudulent misrepresentation, nor for any other liability not capable of limitation under English law. Subject to this, Anglia DEA Ltd’s liability is limited to the fee payable for its services.

Insurance
Anglia DEA Ltd holds both Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance. Confirmation certificates of such insurance are available to customers on request.

General
Anglia DEA Ltd shall abide by the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 (as amended). Details of its data protection policy are available on request. Anglia DEA Ltd may provide your details to any purchaser of all or part of Anglia DEA Ltd’s business.

Anglia DEA Ltd and the customer may give notice in writing by email, post or fax. Any notice sent by email from the customer must be confirmed by an acknowledgement from Anglia DEA Ltd that the email is received, before the notice is considered effective.

These terms and conditions are subject to the law of England and Wales. The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
